The Swimsuit Figure in Pastels: ONLINE

Sunday check in Zoom calls 6:00 p.m.
$75, follow along video lesson start to finish + two critique Zoom calls + email guidance as needed
Ages 13 & up / (*promo image is the image we will draw together)
Inspired by the 80s and 90s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issues, this class concentrates on pastel value techniques as well as basic instruction on drawing the figure. This course includes several hours of instruction via video wherein the lessons are provided for self-guidance while class-time on Zoom is spent primarily critiquing work created during the week in home study and additional instruction as needed based on students' needs in the class. Instructor is also available via email to offer guidance throughout the week if needed in addition to two Zoom check-in/critique calls: one after the drawing for approval before beginning pastel painting and one at the end or towards the end for final critique or guidance. All Zoom call check-ins or critiques must be completed by April 24th so students have 3 months to complete this project.

This will be a hands on class where students will complete one drawing in the time we have together based on what was learned via video and supplemental instruction is offered in class. BONUS: students have access to videos after class for replays as needed and all materials are included.

- If you cancel more than four weeks or more before workshop: 100% refund.
- If you cancel between two to four weeks before the workshop: 50% refund.
