Portrait Drawing on Toned Paper Block in & Rendering with guest artist Angela Cunningham Oct 10th-14th, 2018 (5 days) In this class students will draw the Portrait from observation in graphite on Toned paper. Emphasis will be placed on accuracy of Block-in and Form Modeling. It is in the understanding and practicing of the visual tools of blocking-in, students will develop their comparative measuring and shape-seeing abilities. Focusing on block-ins is a traditional academic training method that allows one to fine tune foundational skills for high accuracy.
