Oil Painting Florals with Karen Bradley July 13 -15, 2018 (3 days) Time: 10am to 5pm, one hour lunch $395, download materials list here Working from individual live flowers, students will learn classical methods of painting in oil on panel or canvas. Light and an understanding of three-dimensional form will be our tools for conveying a lifelike representation. Each day, I will spend the morning demonstrating and walking students through my thinking and painting process, and in the afternoons, the attendees will all paint together while I offer group and individual guidance to keep everyone’s painting on track. Although flowers will be our focus, the techniques and principles we cover can be applied to any type of painting including landscape and still life and portraiture. |
